Broke a 2000 year old pot at the museum yesterday. Felt sick.

I was volunteering in the back room of the little museum near my town in Ohio, dusting a Roman storage jar, and my elbow knocked a metal shelf bracket loose. The thing just shattered into three big pieces, and I stood there frozen while the curator came in and said 'well, at least it wasn't the Etruscan bowl.' Has anyone else had a close call handling fragile artifacts?

Bet the pot wasn't even that old, those dates are always off anyway.

Same thing happened with a vase my buddy bought from some garage sale.
