Tree topping is outdated and harmful, why hasn't it ended?

And it's all about money and people not knowing better. Cheap hacks still sell topping because it's fast and customers think it "controls" the tree. Meanwhile proper pruning takes skill and time, which costs more. So you get this awful cycle where bad info and cheap jobs keep the practice alive. It's incredibly frustrating for anyone who actually cares about tree health.

Showing before-and-after photos really helped change minds.

Yeah, but how do you even get people to look at the photos? Most folks just want the cheap fix and ignore the proof it's bad for the tree lol. It feels like you're fighting against what's easy, not what's right.
