That one storm job that turned into a 14-hour disaster

Last spring we had a microburst hit a row of old oaks near the courthouse in Decatur, and the homeowner wanted everything cleared same day. We found a hidden power line buried in the root ball that the map said was 6 feet away, and the crew had to stop for the utility company to come out. By the time we finished, we'd used twice the rigging line we packed and I had to cancel two other bids. Anybody else have a job that snowballed like that and how do you plan for the surprise stuff?
