I mean, six hours is a long time for one tree. Maybe it's just me but that feels like overkill. It's a pin oak, not some giant redwood. Couldn't you just rig a line to pull it clear? Idk, maybe the setup was way worse than it sounds.

Yeah, the "pin oak not a redwood" thing is exactly why it took so long. Those branches get tangled in everything. Rigging a line sounds good until you're dealing with a fence and a shed right in the drop zone.
