Just realized I stopped dragging a ladder to every pruning job after a homeowner in Bend handed me her pole saw
For years I hauled my 24 foot fiberglass ladder off the truck for every small limb, but now I make two cuts from the ground with a pole saw first and only set up the ladder if I can see a real structural problem up top, which has cut my setup time on small jobs from 20 minutes to about 5, and I'm wondering if anyone else has made that switch or if you still climb for everything under 15 feet.
