Found out my pole saw chain was on backwards for 2 months of trimming at the Twin Falls job
I was doing storm cleanup at a place off Blue Lakes Blvd for about 6 weeks and kept fighting my pole saw the whole time. It cut fine on the small stuff so I never thought twice. Then the guy I was working with grabbed it, took one look, and said "your chain's backwards, man." I laughed, then he flipped it around and it chewed through a 4 inch limb in like 3 seconds flat. Turned out I'd been burning through twice the time and gas for weeks because I put it back on wrong after sharpening back in March. Now I flip it and double check the cutters face forward every single time I swap it. Anyone else learn a dumb one the hard way like this?
