Shoutout to the customer who taught me about dryer vent maintenance
I had this older lady in Des Moines call me out last Tuesday for her dryer that was taking 3 cycles to dry a load. She met me at the door with a notebook full of dates and problems she had noticed over 6 months. Instead of just letting me fix it, she asked me to walk her through exactly what I was checking and why. She showed me the lint she had pulled out of the outside vent cover herself, which was caked solid after only 2 years. That conversation reminded me how most people have no idea that vents need cleaning every year. Anyone else ever had a customer who basically did half your troubleshooting for you?

Totally agree with you @logan_thomas87. Had a guy yesterday at the shop who actually read the entire product description before asking me questions, made my whole shift easier. So many people just walk up and expect you to explain everything from scratch, its exhausting. Those few who do their homework first are honestly the best customers, they know exactly what they want and its a smooth transaction every time. Wish more folks would just skim the basics before coming in, would save us all a lot of back and forth.
