Older customer refused my fix because it was 'too cheap'
Last Tuesday in Denver, I swapped a $12 capacitor on a 15 year old dryer and had it running in 20 minutes, but the guy got upset and said I must've missed something since it cost less than his co-pay. He insisted on a full motor replacement quote, around $380, before he'd let me leave. Anyone else run into customers who judge the repair by the price tag instead of the diagnosis?
