Had a weird one yesterday with a 5 year old dryer that kept tripping the breaker after exactly 7 minutes of run time.

That sounds like a heating element failing under load, in my experience.

Could be a simple loose connection, not a full failure.

Yeah, martin.jana is onto something. So many problems are just bad connections. My old lamp flickered for weeks, just needed the bulb tightened. Same with the internet router, a loose cable causes all the drama. Feels like half of life's issues are things not being plugged in right.
