Guy put a $50 bill on my bench and told me not to touch his dryer until I heard him out
Had a guy walk into my shop in Mesa last Tuesday, slap a fifty down, and say his dryer squeaks but only on Sundays, and he swore it was haunted. I told him squeaks don't care what day it is, but he made me listen to a voice memo of it, and sure enough it was a steady thump every few seconds, which turned out to be a drum roller flat-spotted after he washed a king size comforter on high heat for 3 hours straight. What's the weirdest thing a customer has sworn was a ghost or a curse instead of just a worn out part?
