Rant: my upstairs neighbor's subwoofer made my ceiling fan rattle for 6 weeks

Tried taping foam pads to the light fixture base, but the bass was vibrating through the drywall itself in Portland. Finally bought a cheap rubber mat for my fan motor housing and it killed the rattle in one night. Has anyone else dealt with bass coming through a ceiling fixture instead of the actual wall?
