Property manager looked at my 6 broken blinds and asked if I had 'considered curtains'
My blinds in the bedroom have been snapped since March, three slats just hanging there, and I put in a work order every month since. The manager finally came by on Tuesday, stood in the doorway, and asked if I had thought about just buying curtains instead. I told her the blinds came with the unit and the cord is frayed, and she wrote down 'tenant requests curtains' on her clipboard like that solved anything. Now I am out $14 for a tension rod and a sheet because I cannot sleep with the street light hitting my face. Has anyone gotten a landlord to actually fix blinds, or do I just give up and buy blackout curtains?
