The one thing my team keeps messing up in our weekly reports

Every Friday, at least three people on my team of eight send the client update with the wrong date range in the subject line. It's always 'Week Ending' followed by last week's date. I know because I have to fix them before they go out. It seems small, but our main client in Chicago mentioned it makes us look sloppy. How do you get people to check a simple detail like that without sounding like a nag?

Ever hear about my buddy whose team had the same problem? He made a simple template with the date auto-filled and the screw-ups stopped cold.

Yeah, that template idea is solid... you could even set up a shared calendar event each Friday with the correct date range in the title, so it's right there when they go to write the email.
