The $80 app subscription I swore by for 6 months before dumping it

Honestly, I used to think that project management app was the only thing keeping my work life together. I tracked every task, every deadline, every dumb meeting note in it. Then last month our team switched to a simpler shared spreadsheet our manager suggested, just to try it out. After two weeks, I realized I was wasting at least an hour a day updating that app and I hadn't lost a single thing by dropping it. Tbh, I feel dumb for paying $80 a month for something a free google doc can do. Anyone else pay for a tool that turned out to be pure overkill? What made you finally quit it?
