That Wednesday my coworker's 'quick fix' on the server took down the whole sales database for 3 hours
Last Wednesday around 2 PM, our IT guy Dave ran a script he found on a forum to speed up backups and ended up deleting six months of regional sales records, and we're still finding missing entries - has anyone else had a coworker do something like this with no testing?

and then our guy did the same thing with a registry cleaner that locked everyone out of billing for a full day.

It really does seem like over the years we've just accepted that we need to mess with settings that were working fine, and then one wrong click costs the whole day. Been there with DNS changes myself, @craig.grant, and it never ends well.
