My old manager at the Wendy's on 5th took the blame for my $200 drawer mistake and never brought it up again
This was back in 2019 when I was 17 and working closing shifts. I dropped a whole cash drawer and it came up $200 short, and before I could even say anything she walked into the office and told the district guy it was her count, not mine. She got written up for it. Three years later I ran into her at a gas station in Toledo and she acted like it was nothing, but I still think about it every time a job gets hard. Has anyone else had a manager who covered for them and did you ever get to say thank you properly?
