Just realized I was cleaning my brushes wrong for 2 years

Used to soak my oil paint brushes in thinner overnight and they'd get all stiff and ruined. Switched to a quick wipe on a rag and baby oil dip right after painting, now they last 6 months longer. Anyone else have a cleanup routine that changed the game for them?

Baby oil dip is genius, I always just used soap and water on my acrylics and they'd still dry out...

Start with a rag instead of soaking, that baby oil trick really works. @terry_walker, have you tried warming up the oil a bit before dipping? I've heard it helps break down the paint faster but haven't tested it myself.
