Walked out on a 6 year gym membership over a $15 locker fee
Joined this gym in Phoenix back in 2018, never missed a month. Then out of nowhere they tack on a $15 annual locker fee even though I bring my own bag and never use their lockers. I asked the front desk guy about it and he just shrugged saying corporate decided. I tried talking to the manager twice, waited 20 minutes each time, and she kept saying it was policy. So I canceled on the spot and the guy actually laughed saying I'd be back in a week. It's been 3 months and honestly I've just been running outside and doing bodyweight stuff. Am I being petty over fifteen bucks or was that a reasonable line to draw? Anyone else bail on a place over a dumb fee like this?
