I watched 4 guys on my crew quit within 6 weeks, and the last one left over a $2 part
Something changed at my old shop between January and March and I keep thinking about it. We had 4 guys walk out in 6 weeks after years of nobody leaving, and it started right after the new manager cut the Friday lunch runs and stopped letting us sign out for tools. The last guy to go quit over a $2 bolt he needed for his own truck and got told to put in a request form. I get that turnover is a money thing, but the drop was so fast it felt like a switch flipped. Did anyone else see a crew fall apart that quick over small stuff, or was my shop just due for it?
