I torqued a nut to 'good enough' by feel for three years until a fed flagged my logbook
Back in 2019 I was doing a 100 hour on a 172 out of a strip in Bakersfield and I caught myself guessing the value instead of pulling the chart, which is why I now keep a torque wrench in my box at all times - anyone else catch themselves cutting a corner like that before it bites them?
