I finally got a full shift without an AOG call after 6 months at ORD

Honestly, I spent last Thursday doing nothing but torque checks and coffee refills, not one red tag or rush request came through, and it felt so weird that I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, has anyone else had a quiet day that made you suspicious?

Ha! I used to think quiet days meant something was secretly broken, like the universe was just saving up all the chaos for the next shift. But after a full week of nothing but routine checks and actually finishing my paperwork early, I started to realize sometimes things just go smooth. Even had a Friday where the only excitement was a loose fuel cap, and I finally stopped holding my breath around hour five. It’s weird, but I’ll take the boring days now, they’re way better than the alternative.
