Found a trick for stripped torx screws on engine cowlings
Been fighting a stripped T25 on a 737 cowling for like an hour yesterday. Tried the impact driver and it just made it worse. Remembered an old guy at my last shop in Houston telling me to tap a slightly bigger torx bit in with a hammer. Gave it a good whack and it grabbed first try. Anyone else use this trick or got a better way for these stubborn ones?
