Warning: I blew $340 on a meal kit subscription and it made my grocery fails worse
Everyone says meal kits fix your food waste problem, but after 3 months and about $340 on a service I won't name, I was tossing the same sad spinach I always do, just in fancier boxes. The recipes took me 45 minutes on a work night because I had to wash and chop everything anyway, so I went back to my boring $60 Sunday grocery run in Kansas City. Did a meal kit really help anyone here, or did we all just pay extra to feel like we had it together?
