Tried the paper calendar on the fridge instead of my phone reminders for bills and I'm never going back
I missed two due dates in a row back in March because my phone reminders got buried under work texts and I never saw them. So I printed a dumb paper calendar, stuck it on the fridge with a magnet, and wrote every bill due date on it in red pen. It's been 5 months and I haven't missed one payment, not a single one. My phone just gets too crowded and I swipe stuff away without reading it, but I walk past that fridge like 20 times a day. The paper one costs nothing and takes 10 minutes to set up each month. Did anyone else have to go backwards to old school stuff just to keep their life together?
