Showerthought: I burned $280 on a summer gym membership I used 4 times
Signed up at a place near my shop in March because I told myself I'd go before work, and I made it in 4 times total before the card just sat in my wallet. That's $70 a visit, which is more than I spend on lunch in a week. The kicker is nobody ever called or emailed to ask why I stopped showing up, they just kept billing me $35 a month like clockwork. Did anyone here actually get a gym to freeze their plan, or do I just have to eat the loss?
