Shoutout to the $2.50 bottle of white vinegar that finally got the hard water stains off my shower door after I'd spent $60 on fancy cleaners that didn't work.
After months of scrubbing with every 'professional' product I could find, I poured some straight vinegar on a paper towel, stuck it to the glass overnight, and woke up to a spotless surface I could wipe clean in seconds.

Ugh, I have to disagree. Straight vinegar wrecked the sealant on my shower door. It ate right through it. That acidic smell gives me a headache for hours too. For tough stains, a paste of baking soda and dish soap worked better for me without the damage.

Oh man, that's exactly the thing. Everyone swears by vinegar like it's some miracle fix but nobody talks about how it can wreck stuff. It's too harsh for a lot of surfaces. I've noticed this same pattern with so many "natural" cleaning tips people share online. They act like because it's natural it's safe for everything, but real life is way more specific. Baking soda and dish soap is honestly a smarter go-to for most things, way less risky.
