My plant murder confession to my partner's boss
Last week, I was at a formal gathering for my partner's work, seated next to their boss. I wanted to make a good impression and started chatting. When I asked about his hobbies, he mentioned gardening. Without thinking, I confessed that I kill every plant I touch. He just stared at me, and the conversation died. I've noticed many people have similar awkward moments in social settings. It's a common adulting challenge, but hearing others' stories makes it easier to handle. Now, I think before I speak in professional situations.

My mom gave me a cactus because it's "impossible to kill" and I proved her wrong in three weeks flat. It's a real talent!

My friend managed to drown a cactus in just two days, which honestly impressed me.
