My grocery receipt hit $200 for the first time last week
I was just buying normal stuff for two people, nothing fancy. I remember when a full cart was maybe $120 a few years ago. It really hit me how much everything has gone up, and my budget hasn't. How are you all adjusting your shopping to keep costs down?

My friend said the same thing about a full cart costing $120 years ago. She started buying store brands for almost everything and was shocked at the difference. Her bill last week was way closer to that old number.
