My coworker's blunt comment about my spreadsheet changed everything

I used to make these huge color coded spreadsheets for tracking project deadlines at my office in Cleveland. One day a coworker just looked at it and said "this looks like a rainbow threw up on your screen. Nobody can read that." She was right. I cut the colors down to just three and added a simple status column. Has anyone else had someone call out their system for being way too complicated?

Yeah I teased her about it for like a month straight. Definitely worth it.
