My cheap move on renters insurance backfired big time

Honestly, I figured I could save a few bucks each month. Tbh, when a leak ruined my laptop and couch, I had no way to replace them. Ngl, the cost to fix things myself was way more than the premiums. Now I see it as a basic adult duty, not an option.
