Forgot to pay my electric bill for 3 months straight

Set up autopay when I moved into my apartment last year but apparently it never actually went through. Got a final notice yesterday saying they'd shut it off tomorrow unless I paid $287 right then. Has anyone else had autopay just not work for no reason?

Ha, "got it sorted" is generous. More like I panic-ordered a bunch of stuff at 11 PM and hoped for the best. My printer actually jammed right when I needed it most. So now I'm just sitting here with a half-finished project and a lot of swear words. Life's fun like that, right?
