My neighbor's 5 AM text about my crying kid fixed a friendship

Last Tuesday at 7 AM I snapped at my best friend for being 20 minutes late to coffee, then realized I hadn't slept in 3 days because my toddler has an ear infection. I texted him an apology with the real reason and he said he figured it was something like that, then asked if I wanted him to grab the coffee order to go. Has anyone else had a near-fight with a friend that turned out to be about exhaustion, not the actual issue?
