Oh man, that's so real. My buddy tried to befriend his neighbor for months, just exchanging nods at the mailboxes. The big breakthrough was when they both got locked out on the same rainy afternoon and had to share an umbrella waiting for the super. Sometimes it just takes one dumb, shared moment of misery to skip past all the weather talk.
