Hot take: I spent $300 on a group trip with friends and it's making me rethink everything.
We all chipped in for a weekend cabin rental, but the planning stress and one friend bailing last minute caused a huge fight. Now I'm stuck wondering if big shared expenses are worth the risk to the friendship. Do you think expensive group plans are a friendship booster or a fast track to drama?

Okay @lucas_west, what part of the situation would you call fair then? Calling it a drama fast track seems pretty spot on from where I'm standing. The whole setup just invites problems.
