Why does nobody talk about the cost of those quick-fix roof sealants?
I mean, I dropped $300 on a 'pro-grade' spray kit from a big box store to seal my flat roof near UNM, and it peeled off after maybe two good rains. The guy at the counter swore it was a permanent fix, but idk, maybe it's just me but that feels like a total scam. Has anyone actually had a good result with those, or should we all just skip straight to calling a real roofer?

Started using that stuff on my porch steps once and now I got a weird film that tracks into the house every time it rains. Did your kit come with a warranty or did you toss the receipt like I did?
