Took me 9 hours to figure out why my swamp cooler wasn't cooling, and it was a $4 part from the Ace on Juan Tabo

Replaced the pump, the pads, flushed the line twice, and it was just a cracked bleed tube spraying water onto the wrong side of the pad the whole time, has anyone else chased the wrong fix for half a Saturday like that?
