That Tuesday the water heater quit and my garage flooded in the same afternoon
Last Tuesday I came home to a cold shower and found the 12 year old water heater in my garage leaking from the bottom, so I shut the main off and mopped up maybe 4 inches of water before it reached my tools. The best part was the plumber quoting me $1,850 for a swap out on a 40 gallon unit, which felt high until I called a second guy who said $1,100 installed the next morning. Anybody got a go-to plumber here in the NE heights who won't gouge you on an emergency call?
