Remembering the week my whole street lost water pressure and we all had to share a single hose bib.
It was back in 2012 when a main line broke on Silver Avenue, and for five days we had this weird block party vibe where everyone was filling buckets from my one working outdoor spigot, which really showed you who knew how to properly shut off a valve and who just cranked everything until it broke.

That kind of shared trouble really does show you a different side of your neighbors. Did you find that the whole experience changed how people on the street acted toward each other after the water came back on, or did everyone just go back to normal?

I mean, it also showed who was cool with just using a bucket for a toilet flush and who absolutely lost their mind over it.
