Picked a mid-grade faucet over a cheap one for my kitchen reno last month

Went with a $95 Delta instead of the $35 builder special and so far no drips or plastic parts cracking, has anyone else noticed the cheap stuff just doesn't hold up past a year?

Oh man, you're SO right about this! I did the exact same thing with my bathroom faucet last year. Bought a $30 no-name one from the home store and it started leaking from the handle after like 8 months. Swapped it out for a Delta and it's been PERFECT ever since. The cheap ones just feel flimsy in your hand too, like if you tighten them too much the plastic cracks. Totally worth spending a little more for something that actually lasts.

You ever think the cheap ones are actually designed to break so you have to buy another one in a year? That $35 faucet basically costs you more in the long run when you add it up.
