Update: Finally picked a color scheme for my old comic book project
Been stuck for months on two main styles, a classic four-color look or a modern digital painting style. I had to choose one or the project was dead. Went with the classic look last Tuesday. Spent three hours just on the first page, but it's moving again. Feels good to have made a call and see progress. Anyone else get paralyzed by a big style choice like that?

How did you finally pick one? I get stuck in that loop all the time. I was trying to decide on a brush style for my webcomic for weeks, just kept redrawing the same test panel. Ended up going with the simpler one because I realized I was overthinking it. Making any choice is better than being stuck, and you can always tweak it later. Classic was probably the right call, it has that timeless feel.

Flip a coin and if you hate the result you know what to pick.

Wait, you actually flipped a coin and went with the result you hated?! That's wild, @scott.charlie, I could never do that. When I was stuck picking a paint color for my living room last year, I flipped a coin and got "teal." I hated it so much I ended up going with the other option, which was a soft gray. In hindsight the gray was the perfect pick and the coin trick totally worked, but I still felt ridiculous doing it. Your webcomic brush story sounds way more stressful, at least my bad color wouldn't have ruined a whole project!
