Unpopular opinion: my 3D printer failed and I'm glad it did
Last week my Ender 3 jammed mid-print on a 14 hour job. The nozzle clogged at hour 9 and the whole base warped. Everyone says to fight through these failures and learn from them. But honestly, I'm relieved it died. I spent 6 months fighting leveling, bed adhesion, and firmware updates. I finally boxed it up and sold it for $60 on Craigslist. Am I the only one who thinks walking away from a broken project is smarter than forcing it back to life? How do you decide when to quit for good?
