Spent $80 on a project management app and it just made me feel worse
It showed me exactly how behind I was on my novel outline. Anyone have a simpler method that doesn't feel like a constant reminder?

Classic app experience. You pay for the promise of getting your life together, and all it does is give you a high-definition slideshow of your failures. My project management tool just became a very expensive, very organized guilt machine. I went back to a stack of sticky notes on the wall. At least when those fall down, I can pretend the project is over.
