My wife said my half-built shed is just 'creative procrastination'
She pointed out I've bought all the cedar planks and hardware, but the frame has been sitting in my yard for 8 months. It made me realize I'm not avoiding the work, I'm scared I'll mess up the roof pitch. Has anyone else stalled a project over one specific, intimidating step?

That "scared I'll mess up the roof pitch" is the real problem. You're stuck on the fear of a single mistake ruining the whole thing. Have you looked up a video or a simple guide just for that specific step?
