My friend told me to start a project journal for my half-finished novel
She said writing down my daily word count, even if it was just 50 words, would keep me going. After a month of doing it, I actually finished the first draft because seeing the progress felt real. Has anyone else tried a simple trick that finally got a stalled project moving?
