My app project stalled over a code license issue

I was making a tool to help track home repairs. I used some open source code but might have broken its rules. Now I am stuck and cannot move forward with the build. Has anyone fixed a license mistake mid project? I need advice on how to finish this.

Oh, my friend had to rewrite some code after a license mix-up.

Ugh, license issues are the worst. I now use a license scanner before pushing code.

Yeah, and like @emma_mitchell's friend found out, it can hit after you ship stuff too.
