Hit a wall on my garage workshop after that one critique about my dust collection setup...
Someone on a woodworking forum told me my cyclone separator was sized wrong for my 2hp dust collector, and after checking the specs they were right, so now I'm rethinking the whole duct layout before I go any further, has anyone else had to tear out a half-built system because of a sizing issue?

Hit a wall on my garage workshop after that one critique" man that's rough, I feel for you. But honestly, I'd rather tear it out now than have it suck for years because I cheaped out on math. A cyclone that's too small just turns your dust collector into a glorified leaf blower, and you'll be cleaning filters nonstop. If you already ran some duct and it's not crazy long, you might be able to reuse most of it with just a different drop or two. Better to fix it now than pretend it's fine and hate it later, ya know?

Punt the whole thing and start fresh. A half-assed dust system is worse than no dust system.
