Found out my guitar project has a 73% chance of never getting finished

I was looking up stats on unfinished DIY projects last night for some motivation and stumbled on this music gear forum post from 2019. Someone did a poll of 500 people who started building their own electric guitars from scratch kits. Only 27% actually finished them. That blew my mind. Ive been sitting on a Telecaster kit for 8 months now, sanded the body once and put it in my closet. Now I feel like part of a statistic. Has anyone here broken through that wall and actually finished a build like this?
