Just read an article about how people are tracking garden data now. Some folks log rainfall with cheap weather stations, others take weekly photos to track plant growth. Saw one guy who mapped his entire veggie patch in a spreadsheet to rotate crops perfectly each year. Makes my old notebook system look pretty basic.

Oh wow, that reminds me of my neighbor. She tracks her tomatoes like they're stock prices, it's kind of amazing. I mean, idk if it makes them taste better but she swears by it.

Actually started using a spreadsheet last year after my notebook got soaked. Leo_mason is right about photos though, they're way better for seeing growth over time.
