The $300 'business coaching' call that taught me to trust my gut

I saved up for months to pay for a one hour session with some lady who claimed she helped people quit their jobs. She spent half the time telling me my dog grooming shop idea was too niche (it's not, I literally have a waitlist) and the other half trying to sell me her $2k course. I hung up and felt so stupid. The only useful thing she said was 'stop paying people to tell you what you already know.' Has anyone else had a similar experience with these so called experts? What did you actually get out of it?
