My old manager told me to stop building other people's dreams and it stung because she was RIGHT

I was venting to my ex-boss Sandra over coffee in Falls Church about my Etsy side shop, and she flat out said 'you spend more time making my company look good than making your own brand look good.' She had a point. I put 30 hours a week into my day job but only 6 into my prints, and I was wondering why sales stayed at $200 a month. Has anyone else had to basically reallocate their energy after someone called them out like that?
